Christos Building Services
In the Fall of 1988, founder Christos Sarantis recognized the need and the opportunity to offer multi-housing property owners quick apartment valued building services specialists cleaning. The faster a property could turnover a unit, the faster the property could re-rent the unit. By pulling together hard working and efficient cleaning crews, Christos started his first company and named it Christos Building Services.
He soon added other services so that the properties could achieve an even quicker turnaround time. These services include painting, carpet cleaning, minor maintenance as well as common area cleaning. As a result, Christos Building Services is recognized as one of the most trusted, reliable and valued "turnover specialists" in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Metropolitan Carpet Specialists
As the portfolio for cleaning services increased, clients and owners began to request carpet repairs in addition to carpet cleaning. As a result, Metropolitan Carpet Specialists was formed in the Summer of 1995. Clients preferred to have carpets restored rather than replaced as it was more economical and allowed for quicker turnaround time.
By offering this service, Metropolitan Carpet would help the property owner achieve greater profitability by avoiding the costs of carpet replacement. Metropolitan Carpet offers its clients fast, reliable and economical carpet cleaning and restoration services along with 24-hour emergency flood response teams.
In 1995, as in-store vending machines had just begun to gain momentum as a valuable way for retailers to build small residual revenue streams, US Vending was established. The company started with a simple concept. It began to place bubble gum machines in retail stores all across the country.
Within months, US Vending had placed over 1000 bubble gum machines all over the United States with enormous success. Already having alliances with the multi-housing and commercial industries through Christos Building Services, US Vending partnered with Coca Cola and began placing soda vending machines at various locations.
