Christos Building Services
1988
In the Fall of 1988, founder Christos Sarantis recognized the need and the opportunity to offer the multi-family housing industry quick and efficient building services. By pulling together hard working and efficient crews, Sarantis started his first company and named it Christos Building Services. These services include common area cleaning, hallway carpet cleaning, marble and tile floor cleaning and refinishing, bulk trash removal, pressure washing, eviction support and a wide range of general cleaning services. Today, CBS provides over 150 multi-family communities all the way from Richmond, VA to Baltimore, MD with its services and is recognized as one of the most trusted and reliable building specialists in the DMV.
Metropolitan Carpet Specialists
1995
As the portfolio for cleaning services increased, clients and owners began to request carpet repairs in addition to carpet cleaning. As a result, Metropolitan Carpet Specialists was formed in the Summer of 1995. Clients preferred to have carpets restored rather than replaced as it was more economical and allowed for quicker turnaround time. By offering this service, Metropolitan Carpet would help the property owner achieve greater profitability by avoiding the costs of carpet replacement. Metropolitan Carpet offers its clients fast, reliable and economical carpet cleaning and restoration services along with 24-hour emergency flood response teams.
Paramount Construction Services
1998
As multi-family housing units began showing signs of aging, clients began to request interior renovation services. As a result, Paramount Construction Services was established in the Spring of 1998. By procuring and warehousing its materials and using experienced crews and building professionals, Paramount has developed a reputation of strong and efficient service orientation and quality workmanship. Paramount is now the nation’s leading multi-faceted construction company and provides services that include: interior renovations, painting, maintenance, build-outs and general construction contracting to multi-family communities.
Sarantis Properties
2005
During the many years of working with the multi-family and commercial real estate industries, an enormous amount of experience was gained in how to successfully operate and service these properties. As a result, the acquisition of residential and commercial real estate properties was the next step into expanding the portfolio of companies. As properties began to accumulate, the need for successfully managing and leasing this growing portfolio increased. Instead of using third party management firms, Sarantis Properties was established in 2005 to oversee, manage and eventually develop its own properties.
Cabinet Craft
2006
As the kitchen and bath renovation contracts increased at Paramount Construction Services, cabinet suppliers could not keep up with the high demand of orders. They were unable to deliver the cabinets needed in order for Paramount to consistently provide fast and efficient service to its customer base. In order to avoid any interruptions and delays due to the lack of immediate inventory, Cabinet Craft was formed in order to manufacture its own in-house cabinets. Cabinet Craft manufactures European style, frameless cabinetry by using its own crews of seasoned carpenters. Cabinet Craft supplies quality made cabinets with short lead times so that the customer can achieve the fastest turn around time in their renovation projects.
MAC ST Hospitality Group
2016
Christos Sarantis grew up in the restaurant industry both in Montreal, Canada, where he was born, and later in Washington, D.C. where the family business became not just a source of income, but a lifestyle. It is no surprise that Sarantis decided to come full circle in his own business endeavors when he established MAC ST Hospitality Group in 2016. His first concept was a fast casual Greek restaurant in Alexandria, VA called SouvlakiBar. Today, there are four SouvlakiBar stores in Northern Virginia and Sarantis has more concepts on the horizon. These concepts include a full-service restaurant and lounge called The Maple Room in Vienna, VA and the designing, developing and opening of the first luxury boutique hotel and spa in Ocean City, Maryland.
